Most coverage of Meta One led with the consumer plans, such as WhatsApp Plus at US$2.99 a month for themes, stickers and more pinned chats. The part that matters to a business sits further down: four plans for creators and businesses, and Meta Business Agent, Meta's own AI for answering customers, now sold by the plan.
Meta says the plans are "now available globally" and that "plans, prices, and availability may vary by region, by app, and by account." Three things the announcement does not tell you:
The agent itself is not new. On 3 June Meta expanded it to "businesses of all sizes globally", calling it "AI that lets every business show up for every customer." It answers on the WhatsApp Business app, Messenger, Instagram and Meta Business Suite. Meta said then that "getting started is free" and that businesses would soon "access the agent through paid subscription offerings." Meta One is that step.

WhatsApp now has two business products that Meta charges for in different ways. Meta One's WhatsApp features come as a monthly plan for the WhatsApp Business app. The WhatsApp Business Platform, the API behind shared inboxes and automation, is billed per message on Meta's rate cards (our pricing guide covers what each message costs).
If your WhatsApp runs through imBee, nothing in the Meta One announcement changes your account. Your number, templates and inbox stay as they are.

What is Meta One for business?
Meta One is Meta's subscription across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Meta AI, launched on 15 September 2026. It has four plans for creators and businesses: Essential from US$14.99 a month, Advanced from US$49.99, Expert from US$149 and Max from US$499. On WhatsApp they add more access to Meta Business Agent, a verified badge and channel on the WhatsApp Business app, and, from Advanced, team access, more linked devices and business broadcast credits.
How much does Meta One cost in Hong Kong or Singapore?
Meta's announcement lists US-dollar starting prices only and says plans, prices and availability vary by region, app and account. Check the price shown in your own app before you subscribe, and treat the US-dollar figures as a guide rather than your local price.
Is Meta Business Agent new?
No. Meta expanded Meta Business Agent to businesses of all sizes globally on 3 June 2026, working on the WhatsApp Business app, Messenger, Instagram and Meta Business Suite, and said getting started was free with paid subscriptions to follow. Meta One is that paid step: each business plan includes more agent access, although the announcement does not publish response counts per plan.
Does Meta One change anything for businesses on the WhatsApp Business Platform?
The announcement describes features for the WhatsApp Business app and Meta's other apps and does not mention the WhatsApp Business Platform, the API product that providers such as imBee run on. If your WhatsApp runs through imBee, nothing in it requires you to do anything, and your number, templates and inbox are unchanged.
